| Following withdrawal from regular service with the German
Fleet, this paddle steamer spent many years serving as a
sailing club headquarters at Bregenz at the Austrian end of the lake In 1990 (after a major restoration project) the vessel re-entered service and is now normally based on the Northern shore of the lake The are no regular sailings - PS Hotentwiel operates either Charter Sailings or Special Sailings mainly between the German and Austrian piers - although some sailings do include occasional visits to some of the Swiss piers on the Southern shore of the lake Any further details would be welcome | ||
