BEWARE.............. The last all year round weekday DIRECT "88" (which also connects off the "S2" Sherpa service from Betws-y-Coed and Pen-y-Pass) now departs at 17.40 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ note - the later "S2" direct journey at 1920 from Llanberis ONLY RUNS IN THE SUMMER

Don't dispair there is still an alternative later connecting journey via Y Felinheli Faenol # or Bangor Hospital   S2 88   S2 88   S2   S2 85 5C 5C   T2     summer only       Betws-y-Coed 1548 - no 1640 Sherpa in the winter - no 1840 Sherpa in the winter (1920 from Llanberis) 1730 - - - - Pen-y-Pass 1610 - - 1755 - - - - Llanberis Maes Padarn 1625 16.30 17.40 $ 1810 1830 - - - Llanberis Joe Brown - 16.32 - 17.42 $ - 1831 - - -   Y Felinheli Faenol  # - | - | - 1909 * 1920 - - Bangor Hospital - | - | - 1913 >>>>|>>>> 1917 1948 Caernarfon - 16.55 - 18.05 - - 1934 1934 2000    # - just after turning right onto the main road before the large Plas Menai Roundabout      * - the Arriva "5C" calls at the "Y Felinheli Faenol" stop across the road..........      ..........if it is wet  (or the "85" is running late),  the alternative is to continue to the Bangor Hospital stop where there is a shelter     The £6.80 " Red Rover" day ticket is valid on all the above journeys $ - REMEMBER - this is now the last 'all-year-round' direct Gwynfor "88" westbound journey of the day
