HISTORY of PUBLIC SAILINGS

General	There are no timetabled services advertised to be operated by the motor paddle vessels However, during the Summer, both MPV G Zanardelli and MPV Italia can usually be found in public service operating heavily loaded short-distance sailings at the Southern end of the lake instead of a smaller motor vessel except when they are on a private chater sailing So far I have only been able to obtain very limited details --- please e-mail me if you have any further information
2008	Details will be posted at the end of the season (in the interim, see see 2008 Advance Information  Lake Garda Summary and/or 2008 Timetable Index (for links to individual timetables incorporating details of all information supplied to me)
2007	Only MPV Italia was in service for the first part of the Summer having been observed in service as early as Easter Saturday 7th April
	MPV G Zanardelli entered service late and was first observed in service unusually covering the Peschiera roster on Sunday 8th July vice her sister before spending the latter part of the Summer on her 'traditional' sailings from Desenzano
	Just one special Regatta Cruise was advertised for MPV Italia on Saturday 8th September
2006	Both motor paddle vessels again mainly operated short sailings out of Desenzano and Peschiera on numerous summer dates with the occasional visit to Riva by MPV Italia, but as usual, completely on a non-advertised basis
	Just one special Regatta Cruise was advertised for MPV Italia on Saturday 9th September
	MPV Italia was observed at Riva on Thursday 12th October - presumably on a private charter
2005	Both motor paddle vessels again mainly operated short sailings out of Desenzano and Peschiera on numerous summer dates with the occasional visit to Riva by MPV Italia, but as usual, completely on a non-advertised basis
	Calls at Castelnuovo pier were suspended all season
	A couple of special Regatta Cruises were operated by the motor paddle vessel during September
2004	MPV Italia made an early appearance on Sunday 4th April on the full length sailing from Peschiera to Riva and return repeated on some subsequent local holidays
	Both motor paddle vessels again mainly operated short sailings out of Desenzano and Peschiera on numerous summer dates with the occasional visit to Riva, but as usual, completely on a non-advertised basis Can YOU confirm any other dates ?
	MPV Italia operated some early-Winter timetables sailings during mid-October on the full length sailing from Peschiera to Riva on several dates Can YOU advise any other dates ?
2003	There were NO timetabled sailings advertised to be operated by either of the motor paddle vessels However both MPV G Zanardelli and MPV Italia were observed operating out of Desenzano and Peschiera respectively on several dates during the Summer instead of smaller motor vessels Are YOU aware of any other dates ?
	Unusually MPV Italia was observed operating the full-length sailings 2-5 from Peschiera to Riva and return on the first day of the season (Sunday 25th May) and again on Monday 2nd June instead of the regualar motor vessel Can YOU confirm any other dates ?
	Only one special sailing was observed throughout the summer by MPV G Zanardelli in connection with the Centomiglia Regatta on Saturday 6th September Can YOU advise any other dates ?
2002	There were NO timetabled sailings advertised to be operated by either of the motor paddle vessels However both MPV G Zanardelli and MPV Italia were observed operating out of Desenzano and Peschiera respectively on some dates during the peak-Summer instead of smaller motor vessels Can YOU confirm any dates ?
	The traditional "one hour ashore" afternoon sailings by MPV Italia were withdrawn
2001	MPV Italia was advertised to operate special mid-week afternoon cruises between Monday 23rd July and Friday 14th September
	MPV Italia was advertised to operate non-landing evening cruises from Riva between Wednesday 25th July and Wednesday 29th August
	MPV G Zanardelli was observed operating sailings 16-17-18-19-20-21-22-23 during week commencing Monday 30th July Can YOU confirm any other dates ?
