PS Gallia operated sailings 17-28 with the return sailing running non-stop, from Beckenried (actual departure 1814) to Luzern (actual arrival 1851) in 37 minutes at 57.4rpm giving a speed of 30.9km/h

Fireworks at Brunnen
All five paddle steamers sailed in an eight ship convoy along with mv Europa, mv Waldstätter and mv Flüelen from Luzern at 2000 to Brunnen for the annual fireworks display in consequence, the regular Tuesday evening sailings 29-36 (1915 Luzern to Vitznau and 2027 return) were operated by a motor vessel instead of PS Uri

Just after 1350 on Thursday 20th July PS Schiller (which had been rostered to operate sailing 18 instead of PS Uri) was between Vitznau and Weggis when the paddle steamer suffered damage to the 94 year old clevis mounting for the valve gear and was temporarily withdrawn from service - the SGV stated that this did not have anything to do with the recent two year overhaul
The 400 passengers on board were taken forward by a motor vessel
The paddle steamer subsequently returned to service at 1315 on Friday 28th July after the original faulty 250 kg iron componant was replace with a new steel one
In consequence, sailings by the remaining four paddle steamers were altered as follows:-
PS Gallia covered all of the weekday sailings originally planned to be operated by PS Schiller
On Sunday 23rd July PS Unterwalden covered the 1020 morning sailing to Küssnacht am Rigi and the 1315 afternoon sailing to Flüelen, leaving the Alpnachstad service to be operated entirely by motor vessels
