Car Parking in Snowdonia is very limited and can be expensive if a space can be found The alternative is to leave your car behind and use the Snowdon Sherpa Bus network It is still possible to make a Sunday trip from Llanberis to Betws-y-Coed on a through "S2" Sherpa Alternatively Beddgelert and/or Porthmadog (by changing Sherpa buses at Pen-y-Pass) or a "clockwise morning trip" round Snowdon, including a short coffee break at Betws-y-Coed Suggested timings are shown below and they can all be done for just £6.80 using a "Red Rover" (gives you maximum flexibility in case you want to change your plans en-route) (Purchase ticket from the driver of your first bus) LATEST.......... The level of "S2" Sherpa to Llanberis is doubled from five to ten journeys each way for the summer The current connecting Arriva Sunday "S97" service is replaced by new "S4" and "S97" services operated by Gwynfor which connect at Beddgelert (for Porthmadog) along with several new "shuttles" to Rhyd Ddu This "unofficial" website attempts to show what services are available It contains composite timetables of connecting services on a cross-Snowdonia route basis where a change of bus is necessary --- hopefully it will help you plan your days out It also includes some suggested "trips round Snowdonia - without your car" You can click on any underlined location to go direct to the appropriate timetable
