The new extension of the
"S4" to Black Rock Sands has been
WITHDRAWN 'on the first day'
due to the very narrow access road leading to the beach
(alao cars were badly parked stopping larger vehicles passing)
UPDATE.....
It has now been confirmed the first Sunday Conway Valley will depart Llandudno at 1016
in order to connect into the
1105 "S1" Sherpa to Caernarfon at Betws-y-Coed
- see below for the details
The level of "S1" Sherpa journeys via Llanberis and Pen-y-Pass is again increased
to hourly for the summer
Most "S2" Sherpa journeys from Bangor to Llanberis are extended to Pen-y-Pass
for the summer giving a basic half-hourly service between Llanberis and Pen-y-Pass
along the central "core" section of the Llanberis Pass
(which also serves the large "Park
and Ride" car park at Nant Peris)
The level of "S3" Sherpa journeys along the
western side of Snowdon
is again increased to hourly
Most connecting "S4" Sherpas from
Pen-y-Pass to
Beddgelert/Porthmadog are extended to Morfa Bychan
5 journeys each way operate onlocal School Days as in 2022.....
.....BUT NEW for 2023 the level of service is increased to
hourly at weekends (also weekdays during School Holidays)
Public Holiday dates are listed at the top of each table and a
Sunday service will again operate on these days
So far, no further changes have been anounced for the
Conwy Valley "19"
or the Ogwen
Valley "T10"
(for Tryfan) connecting journeys........

The pages on this website are now in the process
of being updated
Any page dated before 20th March should be regarded as "STILL TO BE UPDATED"
REMEMBER..........
Due to so many last-minute changes to the various services in the area, unfortunately
many official websites (including the TravelineCymru "Journey Planner")
continue to show journeys which have either been "CHANGED" or sometimes even "WITHDRAWN"
Where known, these are also included below as a warning - to help avoid you
being caught out !!!
Please bookmark and revisit nearer the time to check
if there have been any further known changes since your last visit to
this page
Journeys shown on this website with a "strike through" line
are still operating, BUT it is NO LONGER possible to get a (bus)
connection back to the start location of the page - eg
1234
Throughout Snowdonia there are unfortunately numerous cases of
"sub-standard" connections which are NOT recognised by the TravelineCymru "Journey
Planner" (as they are less than 5 minutes) - eg
11.05
11.03
or
17.55
17.53
Although this website strongly advises you NOT to 'chance' them..........
..........they are included to draw your attention to the fact that if everything is
'spot on time' and you are "very quick" - it can sometimes get you to your destination
considerably earlier
This "unofficial" website attempts to show what is available..... and to
encourage greater use of the network
also includes some suggested "trips round
