Rapperswil had a problem with the engine on her first sailing of the season from
Zurich to Rapperswil where some time was spent trying to fix it, but after 15 minutes they gave
up and she limped slowly back to Zurich (in service) On arrival, is was decided to send her straight back to dock and mv Wädenswil which had arrived at the dock about 1610 was immediately sent back to Zurich to cover the paddle steamer's second round trip (the 1630 departure) Following repairs and trials earlier in the day, she returned to service with the 1430 sailing from Zurich to Rapperswil and return on Wednesday 5th May | |||

The static PS Neuchâtel was
open to the public at Neuchatêl harbour from 1000 on
Thursday 4th February minus her paddle wheels, which at the start of 2010 were outside the SGV
works at Luzern awaiting overhaul prior to being reunited with the steamer later in the year She was also open to the public again on the first Thursday of each subsequent month until she began her major re-build in the autumn | ||
